Notes

When a property is being sold, it is sometimes discovered that work has been carried out to the property that requires a building regulations application.

If this was not done at the time and providing the work was carried out after 11 November 1985 you can regularise the situation by applying to the Local Authority for a "regularisation certificate."

We will inspect the work on site to ascertain whether the work complied with the Building Regulations that were in force at the time of construction. There is a charge for this service.

It is important for any building works carried out to be inspected for compliance with the Building Regulations to ensure the safety of members of the public.

This process offers an important safeguard for any owner or potential buyer of a property; please contact us for any further information.
